It’s been a long journey so far, follow us as we show you where we’ve been and what we’ve accomplished so far.

Winter Solstice 2015- a group of us heathens were sitting around the bonfire talking about all the things we wish we could do to help our community. Many lofty ideas were brought up and maybe we’ll get there someday. The seed was planted then to start this group.

Carwash for kitties

May 2016- Our first fundraiser event! Carwash for the Kitties of The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter.

October 2016- Emerge Donation drive.

October 2016- Halloween Carwash 4 the Kitties of the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter.

DiaperDrive11-2016

November 2016- Diaper Bank drive. We collected and donated 1,378 diapers & 540 adult wipes.

December2016Drive

December 2016- DES family sponsorship.  We sponsored 3 local families purchasing them holiday gifts that they would otherwise not be able to receive. All of these families have at least one member with a disability.

February 2017, we raised $500 via FB fundraising for Treasures for Teachers of Tucson, we also had some in-kind donations as well. The $500 went to provide free memberships to teachers who couldn’t afford them.

March 2017- Arizona Welcomes Refugees donation drive.  Tons of items from household appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils to large kitchen appliances.

April 2017- Autism Society of Southern Arizona 11th Annual Walk, we raised $243.

May 2017- Youth on their Own Car wash/Facebook fundraiser, in total we raised $511.

PrideBowl2017

June 2017- 1st Annual PRIDE Bowlathon benefitting Southern Arizona Gender Alliance (SAGA) at Lucky Strike Bowl. We raised over $200.

October 2017- Out of Darkness Walk, benefitting American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- Arizona Chapter. Between the Comedy Night and direct donations, we raised over $1000.

February 2018- Black Panther fundraiser showing at Roadhouse Cinemas benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters. We raised $240 and donated seats for Bigs & their Littles to see the movie.

December 2018- Adopt-A-Family through DES. We adopted 4 families with 25 people.

And here we are!! It’s been a long road and I’m sure we missed some bits here and there where we forgot to take pics… But we hope you will continue to go down this road with us as we try to make Tucson a better place for the secular community and for everyone.
